• “The House of God” Genesis 27:1- 4, 15 – 23; 28:10 – 17

“That place of dissatisfaction, and of feeling like we don’t “fit in” is actually a holy realm! Because this isn’t God kingdom yet! We haven’t got there, there is much work to be done. So when our soul cries out for belonging, it is really the Spirit telling us to get to work—to fight for justice, to seek reconciliation, to build community. We shouldn’t give up on those around us and think, oh, I am going to just wait till heaven, no the Spirit is telling us get up and get to work! It might not feel like it right now but God will have the last word here—God’s kingdom will come so why don’t we get up and be a part of the awesome experience. You are right, you don’t belong here, but there will be a day when we will find a home.”
